Until you’ve experienced Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA) infringement, you haven’t really experienced the internet. When someone blatantly copies your original thoughts, opinions, and even blog page title, and pastes them into their blog page misrepresenting them as their own thoughts with no introduction or reference given, that’s DMCA infringement.
Like me, you’ve probably never heard of this before. Unfortunately, I now know more about it than I thought I’d ever have to thanks to another blogger on this domain. This blogger is computer educated and knows better.
Rather than comply with both of my requests to remove the page, the blogger just decided to hide behind the cloak of the “private” site meaning you ask for permission to view it. While this domain host has a lot to offer, you’re on your own if this should ever happen to you. A domain host that only offers this “private” cloak even after being informed of this makes them in my eyes part of this problem.
So, get ready because it’s not a matter of if, but when, it strikes you, too!
